Mindfulness & Beyond

This full-day experiential workshop will help you repair your relationship with your mind and body. In the first part, Mona, a seasoned yoga therapist guides you through the ancient practices of Yoga Btanjali and Nidra to invite elements of breath, movement and relaxation into your awareness. This group practice is accompanied by the sacred sounds of gong for a deeper relaxation experience.

We then nourish the body with homemade vegetarian delights.

In the second part, I (Hessam Motamedian) will take you through a series of lectures, meditations and exercises to further your knowledge and practice of mindfulness from the perspectives of neuroscience, trauma and healing. Then, together, we go beyond mindfulness and explore internal landscape of consciousness from an Internal Family Systems Therapy perspective.

Please dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow.
